SEARCH ENGINE
A Search Engine is a traffic generating method where a search engine or directory places your link in their searchable database using keywords or keyphrases. This tool is used on the internet to help the Surfer search for a website or link. Usually Internet Surfers do not have a particular web address but they know what it is that they are looking for. For instance, if the Surfer is searching for a big, black box, the keywords that are entered into the search engine are "big box", or "black box". These keywords will pull up the websites that contain words that are assigned to that Domain Name.
Two of the major search engines are Yahoo and Googles. We also submit keywords to the Msn engines as well as several smaller ones. If there is a particular Search Engine that you would perfer to submit your keywords to, then let us know. Here is a composed list of other Search Engines.
The Weblink staff will submit these words for you and do a review them monthly to see if the keywords are working for you. We will also add and delete keywords for you either by your request, or if we feel that the keywords that are previously submitted are of no use.
